Right Track Presentation by Jonathan Beninca

On Friday 30 August our Year 9 students attended a presentation from motivational speaker Jonathan Beninca from Right Track.

Right Track is a Public Transport Authority (PTA) program that promotes safer travel and encourages young passengers to become more responsible for their own safety and to make positive choices. Jonathan speaks to students about the consequences of anti-social behaviour on the public transport system. Since 2006, more than 100,000 students across the metropolitan area have participated in a Right Track presentation, which has helped to reduce the levels of unsafe and anti social behaviour on the public transport network.

Students listened to Jonathan talk about his accident and the consequences of his actions as well as challenges he has overcome since 1999. He took a shortcut home which changed his life forever. He encouraged students to make safer and smarter choices to prevent the same thing from happening to themselves and their friends.
