Gifted and Talented Visual Art Program
Balcatta Senior High School is one of only four dedicated specialist art schools in the metropolitan area.
The school has an excellent reputation for its elite Gifted and Talented Visual Arts Program, a state-wide, selective, academic and practical curriculum for the gifted and talented designed for students to excel in the Arts.
Students with a natural creative gift can develop their artistic abilities in this exciting visual arts program.
Children learn through a mix of visual enquiry, studio work, exhibition and critical reflection. Gallery visits, special art camps, studio classes and exposure to new mediums and technologies are all part of the program designed to help students achieve their artistic potential.
