As a result of Balcatta SHS being awarded the First Prize in the High School Category in 'The Lester Prize for Portraiture' exhibition, we had the privilege of hosting a workshop with Jana Vodesil-Baruffi, a WA-based artist and art educator.

International Women's Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

The Charity Election held on Friday, 13 December was an excellent way to educate the students of Balcatta Senior High School on cost-effective ways to help people in extreme poverty, and on how to choose which charities are most worth donating to.

Each year, we have asked our local intake primary schools to nominate a worthy student who will be attending Balcatta Senior High School in 2020 to receive a scholarship.
