Workshop by WA artist

10 March 2020

As a result of Balcatta SHS being awarded the First Prize in the High School Category in ‘The Lester Prize for Portraiture’ exhibition, we had the privilege of hosting a workshop with Jana Vodesil-Baruffi, a WA-based artist and art educator.

Jana’s signature work in portraiture and landscapes, gives her an opportunity to express her feelings, ideas and values without speaking.  Her realistic portraits, landscapes and fantastic realism works have won prestigious state and national competitions and sell both nationally and abroad.

Jana loves sharing her knowledge of different art styles and techniques through teaching.  Her goal is to help you to discover your own unique style and approach to painting or simply make you become better at what you already do.

Her ability to use any medium makes her a versatile and unique art educator.  She will help you to achieve your goal and find your future calling in the world of art.

Year 11 students had the opportunity to participate in a workshop given by Jana.
