Year 7 Academic Extension Science Class Project

Our Year 7 Academic Extension Science students have finished the year with an a-Mars-ing project – designing a settlement that could be built on Mars!

Students had to consider factors such as extreme cold and low gravity, as well as other issues such as dust storms, lack of water and radiation.

On Friday 13 December, they shared their knowledge and creations with students from other classes, as we all pondered the question – is there already life on Mars?
