Science
All Years 7 to 10 students study 4 periods of Science per week.
Areas covered include the Science Understanding strands – Biological Science, Chemical Science, Earth and Space Sciences and Physical Sciences. Within these strands, we also address Science as A Human Endeavour. Along with the above strands, we also focus on Science Enquiry Skills and Investigating.
All classes are conducted in Science Laboratories where special safety requirements are addressed.
In Years 11 and 12, we offer the ATAR courses Chemistry, Physics, Human Biology and Psychology. These courses lead to university entrance and are sometimes pre-requisites for particular Tertiary courses such as Medicine, Engineering, etc.
