Harmony Day – 29 March 2023

Balcatta SHS celebrated Harmony Day on Wednesday 29 March.  This is a uniquely Australian celebration which promotes harmony and unity among all cultures.

Every year there’s a theme to help further unite everyone. The theme for Harmony Week 2023 is: “Everyone belongs”.

In the spirit of Harmony Day our Student Council wanted all students to celebrate the many cultures and communities in which our students belong to.

Cultural Dress: Students  wore their traditional clothes for the day.

Harmony Lunch (Lunch 2) Wednesday: All students gathered in Student Services outdoor area for a multi-cultural shared feast. The only cost was to bring a plate of food to share.

Music and other activities were also organised around the school.
