Gifted and Talented Visual Art

During Term 1 our Gifted and Talented Visual Art students worked on several projects and would like to share some of them.

Self Portraits

They were privileged to work with Mark Tweedie to complete “Self Portraits”. These were achieved by viewing well-known portrait artists’ work as inspiration for their own creations.

Digital Art Animal AD project.

The students’ task was to create an advertisement for a global revolt group, fighting to preserve animal extinction. The group pride themselves on having powerful images in their advertisements of the serious matter of preserving species near extinction. The advertisement is to reflect this issue in whatever style and subject matter they select. Whether they reflected on animals currently endangered, the choice was theirs.

Lino Prints

Year 7 students completed Lino Prints of our school.
