31st Western Australia Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival

On Saturday 24 August the following students attended 31st Western Australian Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival 2019 held at Carine SHS. The concert is a fantastic opportunity for guitar ensembles all over Perth to perform in front of other schools, students, teachers and also watch other ensembles perform.
Year 7 – Carmen Diep, William Gath, Kaiser Htat, Annikka Virgo
Year 8 – Catherine Borgogno, Asha Budalich, Callum Case-McGlade
Our students were awarded an Outstanding Certificate. They played three music selections and were directed by Steven Sutherland, IMSS teacher. The standard our students are performing at after only a year together is remarkable, and we are extremely proud of them.
